Vacationing with da family in Pacific Beach. :Cool: Water is only 57 degrees with lots of salad!!! :Sad: Out at 6 am for sand crabs but only found the small ones. Had to put 2 per hook. After a small BSP, after slowly dragging in my crabs, the line suddenly took off. Landed my first corbina - a 17 incher. :Razz: In the excitment, I got my camera wet. :Embarrassed: Ended up with around 20 BSP and da bean. :Big Grin: Crack didn't catch anything. Called it a morning after running out of crabs. :Rolls Eyes:

First of all.....Congrats on the bean!
Beats a dink perch any day for sure. I love it when that happens. I stuck my PB bean in the surf at Dana Point about eight weeks ago on a Dropshotted gulp bait while targeting halibut. She went 23 inches and fought like a freight train. They are sooooo strong with those wide tails.
Sorry about the wet camera.......I hope it survived. I have killed one $400 digi and two
$130 cell phones in the surf also!!!!!!
Now it's a $45 ....3 year warranty at Best Buy for the camera and $6 waterproof cases I bought at Sports Chalet.
Even a GOOD ziplock baggie could save the day!
