TODAY I HAD A LAST MINUTE POSTPONEMENT, SO I BURNED RUBBER HOME JUMPED OUT OF THE WORK TRUCK AND WAS IN THE FISHING TRUCK AND HEADED TO PYRAMID FOR SOME EARLY FIRE WORKS. GOT TO THE LAKE AT TEN AND HEADED OUT THERE WAS A GOOD WIND,HIT FISH BEFORE I HARDLY GOT AWAY FROM THE DOCK, ALL THE WAY OUT TO HARDCORE STRUCTURE SPOT THAT PRODUCED SOME OF THE BIGGER FISH THE OTHER DAY.TODAY THEY WERE SPREAD OUT AROUND A LARGER AREA OF THE POINT AND SURROUNDING AREA WITH ALOT MORE FISH SCHOOLED UP. THE ONLY THING WAS THE WIND WAS BLOWING BIG SWELLS JUST AT THE ANGLE ,BUT I THOUGHT ABOUT THE CRAB BOYS IN ALASKA FISHING THE TRENCH,SO IT WAS ON WITH THE SLAYING,I QUESS THEY LIKED THE BIG WATER ALSO IT WAS SO NAUTICAL.AFTER I GOT THE POSITION OF HOW THEY WERE SET UP ON THE CURRENT AND THE DISTANCE FROM THE WEED BANKS AND PROPER DEPTH IT WAS ON I THINK I GOT SEVEN NICER MODELS OFF THE SPOT BEFORE IT COOLED.THEN IT WAS OFF TO OTHER AREAS THE LITTLE SCHOOLIES ARE LUCKY I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE BOAT TODAY AND I WAS PICKY ON THE SIZE,THEY KEPT ME FROM GETTING BORED FOR SURE.TODAYS SLAY WAS DECATED TO DANA AND THE REST OF TEAM 57 ,WINGNUT TROLLY PONTOON AND ALL THE CREW, I HAD SO MANY DOUBLE HOOKUPS IT WAS SICK, MOSTLY DOUBLED UP DINKS BUT A COUPLE BIG ONES WITH THE LITTLE ONES AND DID FARM SOME, THOSE ARE FOR GEORDY AND GARY AND MAYBE KPN,,,,,,EVERYBODY BE CAREFULL THIS WEEKEND,,,,,,T/O

I see it's slaying season again.
My tin boat is down again. It will be about $200-$400 to get her back in the hunt!
Maybe it's time for the little plastic boat. It's not so good for trolling stripers, it's more of a trout thing! It's always nice to see your work Bob.
