Pontoon boat Big Bear Sat! Tips please!!

Hey FNN world, a bunch of friends and I are renting a pontoon boat Saturday and hangin out on Big Bear Lake for a little relaxin and a couple cold ones. I can never seem to be on the water without my pole though!!! I hve only fished BB from the shore and around Boulder Bay in the Tube, never from the boat. It would be very much appreciated if anyone could share some pointers on what species to target and what to use. PLEASE!!! Pm me! Thanks ahead of time!

Trolling the trout triangle with small rapalas and needlefish should do you well. If you decide to fish the bottom, use very long leaders, as the fish usually suspend pretty high there. A slip bobber rig set to about 12 feet deep slays there. Good luck.
