I only caught one but got over 20 hits trying to get this monster that lives underr the boat docks. For some reason it was very hard to catch bass lurking under dock why is that.

what were you throwing?
crank bait next to docks will trigger them alot of times.
sometimes u just have to vary your bait. if your using 6" worms, throw a 9", or they might even want something smaller! Goodluck out there.

So you're not allowed to fish Echo? Or do you mean Ninja since it's night

So youre trying to get a larger bass under a boat dock at night but she wont bite...hmmmm

Normally I would say toss something that will displace alot of water like a big crank and bang it off the pilings as you retrieve it but...

In this case I would tie on a 6" tube and texas rig it VERY light or fish it with a very light tube head hook hidden within the tube. Keep it as weightless as possible but just enough to get it to sink slowly. Let it flutter down and shimmie it on the bottom near a piling or two. If you dont get bit on the fall dead stick it for a min then give it another shake. I would try to keep it in the strike zone as much as possible.

Maybe that will help?

try jigging a treble hook off the bottom  no just messin try 10in worm texas rig or fly line it if not drop shot a tiny fluke.

4"~6" inch Roboworm, T-rigged on 6lb test. Retrieved slow.. Or

Small 2" crankbaits.. Twitched.

I agree on the senkos for fishing docks. The fish will alway grab 'em on the sink. Also, try a nice shiny suspending jerkbait. Just run it along the structure and pause it every few seconds. Drives 'em nuts!

Try a baby spook, or a square billed crank it has worked for me in the past, usually right at sunset and just after it gets dark.Senkos are an excellent option as well, good luck maybe I will see u around there one of these days
