View Full Version : The DUCT,,,STRIPER JUNKIES,,,W/O with pics,,,CUT BAIT ruled this night

Every time i looked at him he was hooking up,,,DUDE WAS ON FIRE!!!!!

It was a GREAT 3 hr trip,,,EXELLENT!!!!!!!

Left my house at 8 pm,,,,,fishing by 8 30 pm at the 1st spot,,,by 945 pm we <MOSTLY CUT BAIT> had hooked up countless times.
Flows at that spot was PERFECT!

Headed to the next spot abought 20 minutes downstream and had pretty much the same luck, W/O ogain,,,,and mostly for CUT BAIT A G A I N!!!

Rattle baits were the hot lure. Also threw the BBZ a little and also the 128 LC,,ALSO the 5in zoom flukes,,,,BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO THE RATTLE BAITS THIS EVENING

Did i mention that CUT BAIT was on fire out there,,,,,almost every time i looked up he was hooked or hooking up again.



ALSO
the feesh were averaging quite a bit bigger then the avg duct schoolie,,,,abought 22 to 25 in on avg.

Flows at the 2nd spot were pretty heavy but still fishable
ALL FISH C,NRd as quick as we could get thelm back in the water.

At one point c,bait looks at me and says,,,Be sure and remember 6/22,,,,I SAY why,,,,HE SAYS , cause THIS IS THE DAY THAT C,BAIT PUT A W H O O P I N ON TRAIL BLAZER,,,,,LOL
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I SAY KUDOS to you c,bait,,,,YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Only took a few pics cause of all the time WE spent digging hooks out of c,baits many fishes.:Wink: LOL
Left the duct at 10 55pm

Nice slay. Chrome and black Traps rule!!! My favorite duct lure too and my most productive one.

That was a fun night. I can only think of 2 other nights out there where I had a better luck. I am still stoked about the new "honey hole" and how it may pay off in the future!
