Myself, Simone (CatchthatTroutsBabe), Tony Jr. (No Name) & Isaiah (Grandson), began our trip out to Parcher's on Wednesday morning at 4:00 am, because we needed to be back home on Monday, so Jared (Parcher's) was more then willing to give us our free night on Wednesday instead of Sunday. We drive over to the next city and hook up with Mr. Bendo (Patrick) and his buddy Ruben, who would be bunking with Team Valdez.

Day One 6-17:
We arrived in Big Pine and took a trip up to Glacier Lodge for our first Sierra fishing action.
Soon after a few casts, Mr. Bendo catches his first of approx. 13-14 fish.

Here was a proud moment in my life when Isaiah cast his own line with a jig and caught his first Sierra trout.
http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m114/trvcoach/1-1-2000-41.jpg
Bendos buddy Ruben started going nuts and caught 15-20 fish himself and I did manage to catch one, but it unbutton as I was trying to pick it up for the photo. Shorty it started to sprikle, then it poured off and on.

After getting a little wet, we decided to head over to PVR to dry up, and boy was it warm up there. We stopped and picked up some crickets (thanks to Trout Only for sharing tips) and headed to the north end at the power plant and lucky for us no one was down at the inlet shore. Isaiah again cast out on his own and quickly hooks up on a nice little brown trout.

Myself, Junior and Bendo all get our hook ups.

Isaiah decides that getting rid of his skunk meant bathing in the sun and goofing around with Simone (notice in the pic she's still dry.

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m114/trvcoach/1-1-2000-13.jpg
Well as she is fussing with Isaiah, she slips and loses her balance and INTO THE DRINK Simone goes at PVR.

PVR final: Isaiah-1, Junior-2, CTT-5

Later in the afternoon we finally head up to our final destination......Parcher's!

We went down late in the evening to South Lake for some fishing, but the rain and COLD wind chased us back to the room in an hour without a bite.

Day two 6-18:
We headed down to South Lake and it was good for us because it was Thursday and little pressure. We caught 13 total for the day with Isaiah 2, No Name 2, Simone 2 and myself 7.
Most of our catches were with a 3ft leader, c-rigged with #12/14 mosquito hook, pink poweregg with natural 1" Berkley Crawdad.
The day in pics:

Isaiah took some time to feed a local critter:

Day three 6-19:
After a nice pancake breakfast with Team 57, we head down to Intake II to do some Sierras float tubing and met up with Santa Fe & his Dad.
http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m114/trvcoach/SantafeDad-1.jpg
It was slow, but Junior did caught one (tube), Isaiah caught one from shore with help from Santa Fe and I caught 4 (1 tube, 3 shore).

Great first Sierra report. Bet it won't be long before you'll be back. Can't believe how big the boys are getting. Somethings never change though, like Simone going for a swim to keep Isaiah from going for a swim. Bet that water was cold.

Thanks to you and Donna for helping the Valdez family achieve a great experience we won’t soon forget.

The only thing that could have made the trip better Tammy was if you and Mike could have made it. Yea, it’s just not the same if Simone doesn’t fall in the drink.

It was pleasure to meet Mr. Gator, he’s a nice guy. LOL …..yea Isaiah thought you did talk a little different. See you soon at the Vine.

MB …. I appreciate the kind words. It was definitely a very nice time with the family, especially with Junior because he’s becoming a young man and will soon be doing his own thing.

The camp ground at Glacier wasn’t that packed, of course we were there on a Wednesday. Good Luck on your next trip up there.

Lalo, I’ll make you a deal. I’ll meet you back up there and when I do, I’ll buy you a beer.

What!!!! There's more pics!!!! I caught a lot more fish than that!!!!!!! Just kidding Tony! I took some pics too. I had a good time with you and your family Tony. I didn't want to come home. Seems it went to fast. Got to find fishing spots with more room! Thank you for sharing your cabin with my friend Ruben and I. Hopefully Melissa finally makes it out there next year!!! Looking forward to fishing with you again soon.
