Hello all,

I just recently bought an older 2 hp outboard for my little sea eagle inflatable. I mainly use it in the harbor down in Long Beach but I'm making my annual summer trip to Mammoth in a month. I was wondering if there are any restrictions on two stroke motors in the general area. I looked it up on the California Dept of Boating and Waterways and don't see any of those lakes listed here..

so I'm assuming it is ok? I honestly thought they would be banned but I don't see anything to suggest this. I'm currently getting it registered so hopefully the registration arrives in time.

The second question I have is assuming it is ok, does anyone know if I need to make adjustments to the motor to run it at that altitude?

Two Strokes are fine in the Sierras as far as tuning the motor to the elevation donot think it should be an issue
