lures

hit nph sat and tried my float tube got skunked.i tried gulb 4in chovy and all white,but got a couple of hits on the live ghost shrimp,do i need to use 3in lures? got any advice? also the weather sucked rained on and off on me

I use mostly 3in but I throw in an occasional 5in swimbaits. Most of my luck comes off of 3in grubs

(1) 3" AA curly tail grubs Chartreuse or clear/red flake with 3/8 ounce darter or standup heads. That's my top bait.

(2) 3" Clear/red flake or chartreuse swimbaits


(3) Gulp 3" Shrimp, Molting or New Penny

When fishing the so cal bays it is hard to beat a 3 inch big hammer on a 1/4 oz head, i like the brown colors like toast, halloweeen. add a little scent too
