Hey guys,

Quick question,

I'm going to be in the valley for the most part of today and was wondering what are the best tackle shops out there. I am looking to get freshwater bass stuff. I know of bob sands, but don't they carry mostly saltwater equipment?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Brian.

Maybe one of the other listings can help you out a bit.

Turners on Vanowen and Tampa used to be good, but the selection is not half of what it used to be.

Good luck finding what you're looking for!

Thanks TD,

I'll try and make it out to turners,

I also found J&T, been there once before, looked like a good selection of reels and rods.

Went to Turners and was disappointed by their rod selection, only a few Loomis IXL's and GL2's.

Then I went to Bob Sands and boy, great guys there and great selection. Looked at a lot of good stuff, I really liked the feel of the St. Croix avid series and the Shimano Cumera, but as it turns out I was a little short on funds.

I did get a Shimano Crucial and the Curado 200e5, I really like it so far!
