I'm thinking about hitting up berth 55 out of long beach for a 3/4 on the native sun for sunday morning.

Anyone gone out off the native sun recently

i notiuce the last fish count from 6-21 showed this

Native Sun - 3/4 Day - 33 anglers - 118 Giant Squid, 1 Sand Bass, 38 Barracuda, 4 Halibut

i'm not really a fan of giant squid and perosnally i don;t think i have the gear for it, I'm useing a penn long beach 6' medium light action rod with a shimano corsair cs 300 w/ 20# test p line mono with about 135 yards of line.

and a calypso MAKO 7' medium/heavy spinning rod with a MAKO spinning reel with 20# test and about 230 yards of line

i wish the barries were still poping off like they were a few weeks ago.

what is the best bet for a good salt water 3/4 for sunday?
