Late NPH Post..PICS!

Sorry so late, but this was last Sunday 6/7/09. My old friend and his son have been trying hard to get out on the water and fish for over a year. Well, since it was his son's birthday, I got them out there!!!! CRVZ was the hero of the day. She consistently hooked up 3 times for every one of ours. She also landed the fattest Bass I have seen. She added blodd to the battle as well :Twisted:

Bait for the day was fresh cut Sardines and the bait barge guy gave us some fresh squid before he dumped it. We fished the bait barge and one other spot. The idea for the day was to relax and have the kid learn to fish. This was not the day for 4 people on the boat all tossin lures.

At the end of the day, we went to my shark spot. I caught a short Smoothhound and Dan hooked into two biggger 3'+models. The kid actually landed a 35+ lb Batray on 10lb test!! Great job Stevo!! We ended with a lot of bigg runs and snapped line as well as three other rays. What a great day on the water with friends!!!!! Here are the pics of the bass, but I used my video cam for the shark spot, so I don't have those pics downloaded yet. I'll update the thread later. Thanks for reading..

Thats a great day on the water. Nice job on the sandies and even a few calicos in there. Nice work! I would love to get into some of those sharks on my kayak. Do you anchor up or drift for them in the harbor?

As for the sharks, i anchor at the same spot every time. Pm me and i may give it up :) i have never gone there without catching some.

Rob!!!! Boat traffic is hit and miss out there..two or three other boats near us at most..never another boat at my shark spot. I'm hitting both spots tomorrow..its back to swimmy time for me!!!!! Wanna join me??

I guess I will have a hard time convincing you to try the inner waters at this rate!!!!!!!
