I've launched my boat in much worse conditons with my 4 wheel drive. DVL should have a fleet of 4 wheel trucks and charge people to launch there boats.

what a shame dvl is defenetly not going to be the same as it was for years. shore fishing there during 2007 was off the charts there now its not nearly as good not even close.

It definatly is a shame. A couple of weeks back I seen the employees at DVL launch their rental boats. They drove on the dirt roads and launched the boat by the east dam. That launch ramp will probably be out of the water soon too. Last time I was at DVL, I was talkin to one of the workers and its not looking good 4 DVL. She said that the water level in front of the main launch ramp is about 17 ft deep and flat. If the water level drops another 17 feet then there was going to be a lot of new shore.

I'm going to remember DV for the good fishing times with my family, the FNN Smack Downs and new freindships that were forged. What I do not look forward to is the price of water. I already ripped out my lawns so I can conserve water.
