The project begins

After having a rocker arm sitting sideways inside the valve cover on my old Merc 5.7 260HP
Decided to start the repower of my Merc 8.1 Mag 375 HP Thats been sitting in my garage for a month. Pulled the engine and drive assembly on Monday/Tuesday.
No water damage around the transom so ordered a new Bravo 3 and transom assembly today.

After 5 yrs of boat projects, Ya kind of just want it to be done.
Does help to make a major performance upgrade. Instead of going with the the same thing only newer.
