Left SGV around 3am to hit the road to salton sea. stop By wal-mart to get supplys to havest these lil talapia. got there around 5:30. went out got set up first cast BAM!!! 2 pretty solid fish...so it was like this for the rest of the day...fish size range .7 oz to 2 LB. Pretty decent size compared to 2-3 years ago and WIDE OPEN FISHING PEOPLE! After filing up the cooler in about 1 hr we went for flat heads around the secret spot...called the G_SPOT! my cousin got 1 nice flats and it was wide open on 2 lb channel cats...we must of got 50+ on the channels and yes i kept all of them! READ MY NAME!!! HARVEST IS HARVEST! after that went back to the bay to harvest some more talapia.... filled up the other cooler in about 1 hr and bounced! got home around 4.

Ahhhh... Nice slay fest, Sick the Tilapia's are fun to catch hopefully someday they will put some more Corvina's back in there to see if they could survive. I got to get out there with you guys one of these weekends. I'm also going to book a date for camalu for August and Sept. I'll keep you guys posted.

I liked the original post better, you sounded like Tupac or something, hopefully the Kron dispensary will have something to help you out with the illness you come down with after you eat that ****!!!

Nice job on the Flathead and Tilpias, but word of caution do not eat more than 3 serving of the Tilpia per week. In the DFG book it is said that eating too much Salton Sea Tilapia is bad for your health. Serving as in 4 ounces I figure.

i fish but i dont eat fish, people think thats weird i dont know why.....lucky for me i dont eat talapia. thanks for all the hits FNN

good job killing those tilop and cats. Make sure your G spot is not where New river come into the salton sea, otherwise your friends will get sick from the fish. New river is known to be the dirtiest river in the United States because it flows from Mexican sewage line. Other than that, fishing is always good out there.
I am a bit surprise that not that many dead fish floating around, last year, it was pretty bad.
