I fished the lagoon 3 times this week, so im just gonna bunch it all together.

Went out monday after work on the dam side after a great saturday and the conditions werent too great weather wise. it was windy up until 7ish and then it died down. I got 3 fish in about a 30 minutes span all on a fly line 4" senko. i figured the pattern would be to find the weed line and pull the senko thru the outer portion. I caught 2 just under 2 lbs on back to back casts, then i pulled in a nice 2.13, i was pretty pumped because the pattern was producing. with the the wind though, it was hard to find the weed line and was starting to get cold so i kicked in and hooked up a little guy in the reeds along the way.

Went back the next day after work to Paradise cove with my step son and tried the same pattern only on the cove side the water is a little bit deeper than the damn side which hopefully meant bigger fish would be there. SND showed up with his tri color painted finger nails and scared all the fish away. so we move out towards the buoys and Andrew caught one on a wacky jig head with a robo, it was a 1.12. I got a 2.3 then a 2.9 on a 4" senko and i told SND that the next fish would be a 3lber. Andrew asked me for a green pumpkin senko and sure enough, he caught the 3lber so i grounded him and made him do dishes that night.

Saturday AM looked like a Float tube tourney, CC, his brother, SND, Rob, Andrew, and myself plus 2-3 other tubers were out on the dam side. before CC, bro, SND were even in the water, all 3 of us had hooked up with at least one. Rob, Andrew and myself fished the senko pattern, i switched up to flukes, rattle trap and shakey head, i ended up with 7 total, Andrew ended up with 5, and Rob ended up with 2 and 1 hog that broke him off. 6lb test is for sissies!

Nice Work PIZZ.
here is the 4.10 lb bass that I yanked from the Reeds by the Dam at the Lagoon just before we departed Saturday. She was worth all the work (about 45 minutes and 5 or 6 different lures)
