Took my 8 year old Grandson Cameron shore fishing for Bluegill at Lake Perris. Had fun catching fish of all sizes, from little tiny 4 inchers to ones of almost 10 inches. Cameron had a HUGE one shake the hook as I was getting ready to grab it. He just doesn't what a trophy Bluegill is and how long I have fished for a 2 pound 'Gill...

Nice one, I was there also with my son around lot 11. He caught a a nice red ear using wax worms. I had hooked a nice fish but lost it before I could make out what it was.

It's coming back - gills are starting to stage again. Surface water temp got up to 71 F.
We went out yesterday and I got out for a couple of hours this morning. Did pretty good on the Silver minnow thing with crickets on the RE and the big BGs both days.
