I went out on a overnight 976-tuna charter thursday night June 11
out of Pierpoint landing on the Westerly. We fished the back side
of Catalina we had a good run on the WSB and on the Yellows but
only managed to put a hand full of them on the boat. All fish were
caught on live squid fly line or dropper loop. The Calico bass were
out in full force and I saw a bunch of Sheepheads caught as well
some Calico's were short but a lot were C A R. I ended the day with
a WSB 5 Calico's and a couple of rock fish. Jackpot for the day was
a 31 pound WSB. Here's a couple pics! More on 976-Tuna website

My WSB caught in the dark 28 lbs!
