Hit up Lido today with mudmarlin916. Threw everything from LC's to swimmies to Krocs, Gulp jerks on a DS,c-rig, and even flyline with no luck at all. Then this young one comes over with a live smelt and pulls out a 23" flattie with ease! We IMMEDIATELY went on a mission. Bought an umbrella net and scored at some yacht surplus store on a bucket and rope. We then realized that catching the damn things was not an easy task for two grown men. Nope, the little one schooled us again. He was very generous as he caught us several live's. End result:
