Me my wife and a buddy went down to HB pier to make some bait, ended up with quite a few medium sized dines then hit up a local spot we fish to give the live stuff a try. Pretty slow nothing was biting we were also casting gulps... After about 2 hours and getting ready to call it a day, my buddy tossed out the biggest live bait we had left it wasnt a sardine and not really sure if it was a small mac or not couldnt really figure that one out, anyways after about 10 mins he gets hit and hooks up with a nice 3'-4' leopard, after the hookset the leopard peeled some line and broke the surface but gave in shortly. We didnt manage to land it he was just a little too heavy and broke off. my buddy had 15lb braid and a 20lb fluorocarbon leader.My wife got some video i wanted to share...Its not the best quality, you'll see the leo right towards the end. its 2mins long.
