Anybody looking into a great starter bass boat? I pulled all the carpet out so it will need new carpet, kits run about 125.00 at Bass Pro or Cabelas. Gelcoat will need to be buffed out from oxidization. Trailer is in great shape motor runs strong but will need lower unit oil change and water impeller replacement (about 240.00 dollars at M@K marine) I have 2 other boats so this needs to be put to good use, I hate seeing it sit in the back yard when sombody can fish the heck out of it. http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp250/crappiemeister/100_0164.jpg

$1500.00 obo

Alright Scott, here we go man. Started restoring the gel coat this week. These pics don't even do it justice bro. I'll take more tomorrow after I get the left side done completely. It's easy to see why you always got compliments on the paint color .... it's freaking beautiful dude. I couldn't believe how good it looked.

So here's what I've been doing so far to get this result:

Wet sanding with 1500 grit, then following it up with 2000 grit (Lots of soapy water) ... After that I'm using the Maguiers One Step Compound No 67. It still has little scratches in it b/c the No 67 is coarse, so I'll need to hit it one more time with a finer polish. Lots of work but well worth it since its working this good.
