Has anyone ever tried this? I'm thinking about trying this in a couple of weeks with my brother's 3 seater. I was thinking I could clamp the rod holders on the handlebars and maybe even hang the portable fish finder off the front. Think it would work or even if it's worth the try? I'm guessing I would launch from J st. Thanks for any info.

Perfect!!!

Looks like I'll need to do some shopping before I attempt it though. :(

I've seen a jetskier fishing the ocean out of San Diego a couple of times-just zips out there with a rod, and fishes around the cattleboats-One guy even had some sort of bait tank trailing behind!

I think I'm going to pick up a short saltwater rod, MacGyver my rod holder to the ski, toss out a lure and see what happens. I like cruising around the bay on it anyway, just figured I'd get some fishing action in as well. :)

You might catch some really big NPH Lingcod that way.

Or a Crystal Cove Tuna.
