NPH on foot 6-9

Had an invite from Steve to go up north and do some fishing near the surf and change the scene, but I had to pass due to the fact I have a Bacterial Infection in my gums and cheek,etc, but it is getting better everyday. But I was worried it might start bothering me again and did not want to shorten Steve's day. So, I woke up at 0400 as I have been the last few days with my infection. I felt better so I decided to head down to NPH. I arrived at 0700 to a nice morning, slight breeze, breaking clouds. Fished the normal spots plus one new one.
I got a Spottie on my first cast which made me pretty happy. but I did not take a picture of it, of the 2nd through 4th. Here are the pics after I decided to take some.

My total fish count for the day:
10 Spotties
4 short Halis
All on the drop shot jerk shad!

Not a bad day as far as I am concerned. I called it a day at 1330 to head home.

Great Job dude. I haven't fished in like a month because I've been busy
skimboarding, surfing, finals, etc. I'm starting to get withdrawals pretty
bad haha.

BTW, the spot that you hit up is pretty dang good. My and KevinJAlax hit
it up last time we were there in in that stretch we cuaght at least half
our spotties.

Glad you felt up to doing something after all and looked like a great haul for a short duration you were there! Some quality Spotties also.

Trust me I am glad I did not give in to go with you and am Very Sorry you could not get up there with me!!!!!!!

I did not get wet at all except when I released the big girl and she gave me a good soaking as she said goodbye with a tremendous tail slap on the surface!!!!!

Dude! How could you miss out on all that flattie action!? I would've gone just to watch Steve hammer away at all the halis. I probably would've looked just like this :Shocked:. LOL j/k Sorry to hear about the infection. That must suck, but you didn't have too bad of day either. WTG on slayin them spotties from the shore. 10 Spotties, very nice. :Cool:
