Where do you guys go for all your boating needs? I'm looking for carpet and maybe new gauges. West Marine seems pretty limited.

I wish ... Guess I just got lucky and never needed anything too expensive. I for sure never price compared with anyone other than West Marine ... who were plenty expensive themselves but also never seemed to have what I needed. So Cabela's is the way to go?

90% online shopping.
Google search best price on what ever.
Best quality marine gauges, etc

I found my New 8.1 Mag engine in Texas. 4K savings
My transom assembly in Oklahoma. 1500.00 savings.
My Bravo 3 in Michigan. Probably buying my props out there also. On sale 400.00 off.
Can save even more if I buy there used refurbished props. Even get it customized before shipping.

I shopped the Anchor once. Was surprised they were more expensive then West Marine

Thanks for the info everyone. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of online shopping as I thought West Marine was expensive.

I actually just today ordered my Drive and Transom assembly.
The OK based company with the lowest priced transom assembly just matched the best price on the drive from another state.
Sometimes there's free shipping on orders over 100.00 also.

For the carpet try this site -

They have alot of pre-cut and bulk.

For the gauges West Marine has a good veriety on line as does BPS. They both ship fairly quick.
