Heading up the 101 to Eureka

Hey guys was making a trip up north this weekend to pick up a family member and was hoping to do a few stops and get a little action in for some trout possibley. I dont go up very often maybe once a year so I wouldnt blow up any ones honey hole, want to get the nephew on some fish. Any help would be awesome. Ill be taking the 101 up to Eureka.
