There are plenty of good deals to be had out there. You might wanna check in San Diego craigslist also.

Just becareful you don't buy someone else's problems, unless you know them or get a written guarantee. People are not always honest about the little details and that might cost you more money in the long run. Also consider Bass Proshops or Anglers Marine, they have really nice Bass boats for under $10,000 brand new and you get a warranty and you also can finance if you want to get more boat for your money. Right now they are making serious deals and help with the down payment because of the economy. Nothing beats having a new boat with no worries of someone else's headaches. Me and my dad are leaning towards that direction right now. Also if you lean towards used make sure the motor has low hours and has been well maintained. Motors cost more than used boats these days.
