No big bragging rights post here---just giving back a little info, for what it's worth, for all I've received from this board---
Worked the entire length of the Colony beach starting at high tide (11:30 am) Unfortunately 'surf was up'.
I nearly had no takers but thankfully avoided the skunkaroo by picking up a 19'' hali at the very far end of the beach--Once again it struck not more than 15' in front me and in 2' of churn--Isn't that the way?
Was pitching the blue/silver LC 110 on 10 lb. Silver Thread mono--

Cheers,
Sid

Nice job on defeating the skunk. Yeah.....The surf conditions just turned to crap over the last few days but it will settle down again soon.
Congrats on the 19 incher and thanks for the report from the BU!

Thanks for the report Sid, keep it up and that legal Hali will come your way very soon. And yes, I've caught Halibut in like a foot of water many times... always finish off your retrieve.
