Slow day today. Thought i would hit LBC for some halibut action. The water was murky and weedy. I guess it hasnt cleared up yet from the rain and wind. We walked a lot today looking for better conditions...

the results:

a baby stingray my bro snagged

My brother claims to have seen some big fish sliding in the shallows(corbina?) but no hookups. One of the bucketeers i spoke to said the beans were biting pretty good before the storm. Once things clear up a bit ill give it another shot!

The photo of "What is it" looks like part of the upper-jawbone (maxilla) off of a sealion.

Victor,

To bad it was slow but you did catch fish of variety as well as other objects!

The last looks like a Black Striped Salema! They are a schooling fish so there were probably more there! I caught 1 in NPH last year!

I may hit the surf this Mon or Tue!

Hopefully they will be hungry qafter taking a few days off!

I've seen some corbina myself already this season. Haven't tried to get one yet though. Nice report.
