Went out on a solo mission for some trout this morning, wasn't looking to drive too far as I had to be at work by 10:00 am. I was planning on hitting up lytle creek because last night at Wally world in the fishing dept the word was that dfg stocked north fork and middle fork on Friday. So I drive up Sierra ave and stop at the Chevron to buy one of those adventure passes and the lady at the counter says "you can't go up there right now it's blocked off until noon because of the Fontana run". I'm like wtf. At this point I'm already buzzin off the morning coffee so I wasn't about to go home and call it quits, so I put the petal to the metal and made it up to Jenks by 5:40. I was second in line and the gate was opened at 5:50. I hurried up and made my way to the pier and fished for a couple hours. Ended up catching 2 trout on the yellow corn PB. Made it back to Fontucky by 9:00 just in time as the wife was making breakfast burritos. :Big Grin: Made it to work on time and posted these pics. on my break of course :Wink: My apologies for the quality of the photos I had to use my cell phone the Digi was left at home.
