Anyone fish this lake lately?

i fished it two seasons ago. It was alright, had more luck in the lakes below Duck Pass as well as Purple lake. I was throwing all silver panther martins.

Ok cool. Me and my friend might try going up there for some goldens.
If this is the lake by Mammoth, bring your snowshoes at it may be tough getting over the pass. Also, careful walking below the cornice at this time of year. It may still be large.

Yea its right above lake mary, well a 3 mile hike lol. We plan on going up there mid july. I just got back from Mammoth kinda sad it was horrible weather 5 of the 6days.

it's more than 3 miles
it's over three miles to Barney Lake on that trail, and then you have to get over this huge pass to get to where Duck is. I have never done it, but I have seen people continue past Barney, and it seems like that is just where the hike to Duck starts to get interesting.
For sure there will be snow issues up there too.
