Just so SoCalDude007 has a place to rant and rave instead of on the Dodger thread I figured this was long overdue, today seemed like a great day to get this going.....

Sox get shut out at home 7-0 by the A's who have the 3rd worst record in the majors to date.....NICE

I dunno if 7 runs is enough to satiate SCG's thirst for run scoring.

Glad to see the White Sox had more errors than runs. Again. That's twice this week, congratulations.

And I see the AL Central has one team over .500.

"The White Sox (33-36) are 29th in the majors with a .219 team batting average at home and last overall with 117 runs scored at U.S. Cellular Field. Chicago is 16-18 there this season, dropping nine of 13 since last posting back-to-back wins over Pittsburgh on May 22 and 23"

Holy crap, did you see the White Sox rake against Dodger pitching last night?

The Dodgers couldn't hit 6 homers in two weeks, and the White Sox do it in 5 innings. I kept watching for the sheer entertainment value.

Rubber game tonight. Hopefully Bills corrals those bats.

Rubber game this morning actually....

Yeah the 10 runs the Sox scored was quite the shocker given their offensive woes at home, oh well every dog has its day...today will be ours and make my 4-2 road trip prediction complete!

When we make a move from out of 27th place for MLB teams in the home run department, I'll celebrate that fascinating stat a bit more.

And when home runs dictate your winning percentage I will certainly be sure to do the same

I never said HRs dictate your winning percentage. My original comment about the homeruns was made regarding the fact we GAVE UP a ridiculous amount of homeruns last night, and in fact, today we gave up another crucial one.

YOU decided to inject the stat of "hitting 6 in the past week," and me pulling up the stat that we're in the cellar when it comes to amount of HRs hit was to render that "myopic" (You like that SoCalGuy?) comment misleading; it wasn't meant to convey that HRs equate to wins.

...man you must miss the Eric Karros era

No, but I do miss the Karros Kombover.

http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/deadspin/2009/04/erickarros.jpg

Too bad he was the reason Paul Konerko was traded off for Jeff Shaw or we would've had a decent first baseman with some pop during all that time Karros' back was hurting. I still remember Vin telling the same ole story every time Karros came up to the plate; "He amazingly was a walk on, for the UCLA Bruins baseball team." I think I must have heard that story 400 times.

"I'm embarrassed, and everybody in that room should be embarrassed. If they're not embarrassed, they got the wrong job or they're stealing money from baseball....When you have more errors than hits, you better look yourself in the mirror and second-guess yourself. I'm second-guessing myself right now, making the wrong lineup every day. I watched Little League this morning ... they were playing better than we did. At least it was more fun.
