Flyfished Rush Thursday evening by the inlet to Grant. Skunk. Friends caught a couple of small ones though.
Friday morning fished Uppertwin inlet w/PB, Skunk. Buddy fished the rocks in front of the marina and caught a couple with lures and PB.
Flyfished the West Walker by the marine base in the afternoon. The water was deep, fast and the wind was howling. Tried finding and fishing slow moving pockets. Skunk. Friends caught a couple small ones on worms. Hit the 2nd bridge north of the 108 for a couple of stockers on an Olive WB

Tubed the Upper inlet in the evening with one of the guys, his first time. The wind was up and I told him to stay near the bouys. He gets blown out 50-75 yards and had a hard time getting back, but he did catch a nice stocker on a Mepps. Got him to the sand bar and we proceeded to catch a ton of fish throwing Olive WB's that I tied earlier that day. He used a fly/bubble and I used my 5wt. My hand and wrist were killing me by the end of the evening and the fly's were torn up.

Somemore friends arrived at the cabin that evening.
Saturday morning four of us headed out to Bridgport, The others woke up late and went hiking. I kayaked the lake while the others got a 1/2 day boat. I paddled to the other side by the inlets. Still fished with a midge, tossed a punk perch, horneburg, and dragged a NC. Skunk. Headed back to the marina side before the wind picked up. Tossed out the same things there. Skunk. Guys in the boat caught three using PB. Left around noon

Saturday afternoon fished the Lower lake inlet area two of us in kayak's and two on shore. Friend in the other kayak was hooking up left and right dragging a NC. Me, I was burnt on the kayak thing from the morning session at bridgeport. Headed to shore with the other guys to drink beers, take a nap and cast PB. Skunk again.
In the evening we fished the Upper inlet area again This time some of us waded out to the sandbar and one fished from shore. Proceeded to slay them again from the sandbar area. The shore guy was drifting a NC and bobber using the current of the inlet. He caught a bunch also and brought in a nice 2+ fish.

The next morning three guys rented an all day boat at Upper twin, I float tubed. Looked like there was a big skeeter hatch going on because the water was covered with shucks and skeeters. No fish for me. The guys anchored by cattle creek and picked up 10-12 on PB.

I headed to Big Virginia in the afternoon with the other guys there. Skunk.

Again we fished the Upper inlet in the evening caught a few before the skeeters came out in force. Decided to head in, could not take the skeeters anymore.
Great weather and fishing. Boozing it up at night and talking S%^* with friends is always a plus. Here's the bud's at Hotel California!!
