The seat mounts look awesome!

Did you inspect the throttle and steering linkages for wear and/or corrosion?

Does it have cathodic protection for the motor/motor mount?
I am assuming that you will be using it for the saltwater in addition to the fresh.
Old zincs can look fine but fail to provide protection from corrosion due to electrolysis.

It's looking berry niiiice Bucket! Let me know if you plan to head out to Castaic again, I might come fish with you (if you dont mind, of course). I was out there last weekend and it was slower than those kids people bring with them to fish. Maybe I should check out Pyramid. Tired of skunking.

What have you done to the cowling other than paint. I had some hull decals made up for my last motor and it really made a difference. It cost about $20 to put "Mercury" on both side of motor and the horsepower on the back. It made the motor look like new from the outside.

Just a hint.
