Got up a little late but still managed to launch the float tube out of lot 11-12 just before 7a.m. Kicked off toward the east end and got into some action after about 20 minutes. The Gils and redear seemed to prefer the crickets over the nightcrawlers. No love on the mini-jig. I kicked back & forth along the northeast shore for about three hours and caught 12 gils...kept 4 decent ones plus the bruiser for dinner and released the rest. It was a beautiful morning until I realized I was getting closer to the water and a minute later heard my tube start a bubbling hiss :EyePop: Back to shore in a hurry and had to hike back to where I put in in my stocking foot waders. I get there and someone TOOK MY SHOES! Oh well, they were old and someone must have needed them more than me. Still a great way to start the day. Time to get a patch kit....

Sorry about the lost of your shoes. I wonder who took it. That gill looks huge by the way. Thanks for sharing!
