Cabrillo-

Fished the low tide at Cabrillo with my bro today...not expecting much, i left the camera at home. Since I have no pics...Ill make it short. I caught 1 short halibut around 14" from the surf and my bro got 2 surf smelt and a pier tomcod. We tried the pier for a while but low tide conditions made it not very fishy.

Samo-

After a slow morning at cabrillo, My bro and I went home for lunch and headed to Santa Monica for the high tide. Conditions when we got there were pretty good...just some salad but still fishable. We worked our way down the beach til we found a hole. We put our gear down and fished around there for the afternoon.

It started to get windy, cloudy, and cold. The waves got bigger, more salad in the water, and the fish stopped biting so we called it a day around 6pm.
