It is Saturday May 30th and to celebrate Yamafish's birthday he and I went on a TroutOnly Guidetrip for Stripers. It was by far the most amazing time of our life! Location: Castaic Lake. To say we had fun would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. For anyone out there that wants to learn how to fish for Stripers you MUST take a TroutOnly Guidetrip!! No joke he is the MASTER and you will have the time of your life!! Since it was Yama's birthday he reeled in the first Striper. It was his first Striper ever and he could not stop smiling!! Striper number 2 went to me and I had so much fun reeling it in! Talk about strong fighters!! Yamafish and I alternated back and forth on the hookups to end our day with an ice chest full of fish.
We had the pleasure of meeting up with Trolley and Sansou out on the lake. Great to see you both as always!! Truly AMAZING Day!!! Bob, you are the BEST!!! Thank you so much for taking us out today and teaching us so much! Today is a day we will always remember!!

It was just Unreal.. Just hearing that drag Scream was Epic.
I learned so much yesterday. Ladyfish and I can't even wait to start getting our gear and boat prepared. :Smile:

Chris and Rich - I don't know how they did on the linesides today. Those guys are truly hardcore. They fished the day, and as we were leaving, they were entering back in again for the Night Session event. :Shocked:

~~This board is truly blessed to have a resource like TroutOnly. ~~I have fished next to him a many times with my boat. But this was my first guide trip with him. I'm so happy LF & I got know him as a friend and learn from the master. I would highly recommend that anyone that wants to learn how to catch stripers effectively, Book the guide trip with Bob :Smile:

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments and encouraging words! I must say I am VERY happy with my decision on Rodger's birthday present this year. Although I am scared about how to top it next year!! :EyePop: We had such a great time that Yamafish has now gone crazy wrenching on our boat and getting equipment so that we can go out and tackle the stripers alone! Not sure if we can do it without Bob but we are sure going to try!!
