View Full Version : Good camping spot

Camping for the 1st time wanted to get some ideas on which areas are a good spot to fish and camp around california. Willing to drive a couple of hours for a good relaxing spot. Any suggestions r appreciated thx in advance.

it all depends what excactly u are lookin for do u care if its catch and release only if u dont theres a place in temecula thats pretty cool called indian oaks its only 20 a night to tent camp it has a bar and small store also the lake/pond has some nice cats and bass in it there are some 13-18lb cats in there and if u have little ones its got alot of bluegill garunteedd catch its not the most beautiful place but its nice then u have seven oaks which is in the san bernardino mnts right off of glass road going the back way up to big bear that place is really nice the santa ana river runs near the camp grounds which is stocked with trout and they have a bar resturaunt and store and the camp is family owned so its really well taken care of those are the only two i can think of that are relaxing
