Jumped aboard the Dana Pride for a full day trip to Catalina on 5/28. First spot on the backside was wide open for calicos on chovies. Caught about a dozen and a nice bonito from there. Second spot was a slow pick on calicos, then the big mac attack moved in. Last couple of spots were down hill from there. Never had been on the Pride before, great crew and great boat. Super light load, I think 18 anglers. If my bonito hadn't been bled it might have beat a cuda for the jackpot. First salt trip this year, it was fun. No pics, camera was WIA from last fishing trip.

Nice post. Sounds like an awesome trip-light load and a decent amount of fish. Don't forget the fish porn!

Hi IE Fisher,

WTG on the action. My camera died last week and I got a new digi Kodak C913 at 9.1 mp for a lousy $89. Great little camera just to take pics 'on the boat' and fits in a jacket pocket so it's easy to remember.

thanks,
