Perris Gills 5.29.09

I finally got off my *** and made my way down to Lake Perris today.. I was suppose to get there early but didn't. Better late then never...
Got there around noon today and kicked my way out to the spot looking for them gills..

Finally got to the spot and hooked my first gill.

Them gills wanted to eat but they were all small. Released the first 10 or so. Then I hooked this guy.. Very fun on 2lb test..

Hooked few more bass and more Gills.. Kept the bigger gills and released all the bass...

Fished from noon to 5... Had a blast out there today.. Hooked about 30 gills and 3 bass...

Nice job on the Gills. I get to make a trip for those gills soon. I'm over due.
About the LMB....That how I caught my PB bass (11 lbs15 oz) when fishing for gills at Lake Perris....over 2 years ago....on 2 lbs test. It took me amost 30 minutes to land her....
