Do these guys exist in the Russian River? Is there a bag limit if they do exist and are they good eating?

i dont know anything about the russian river, but from what ive heard, they are trash fish

I landed them in the Kern i just toss them on the shore for the coons to eat.

I caught them there as a kid years ago. They are tough fish so they are probably still there. Check the regs. I don't know the limit but I have never met anyone who ate one.

they are protected, on the endangered species list
