Frog don't go to many places on the long holiday weekends.
Yesterday took MIss frog to the doc to have her batterys checked on her pacemaker.
We got up bright and early and back to Cibola.
Fishing was great, anytime one can go fishing it's great,
On the way came upon a herd of about 20 Desert Mule-Tail does just south of Harvey's fishing hole,
three Buros right after. We have small herd of wild Horses it the A-7 area ole frog hasn't seen them for awhile.
The othe sights I seen makes one want to puke.
Along the river five or six areas ,piles of trash left by the weekenders.
The desert will be closed to free camping one of these days and these jurks will wonder why.
When a fee is added to camp , it will cost the fisherman too.
I am sick and tired of picking this stuff up.
What raises my hair is La Paz County Arizona has free dump for this kind of trash.
We have no trash pickup fee ,you go and dump it off at a pick up point.
They haul it off.
Enough of the rant , the fishing
5 Crappie,I Bass, 15 Bluegill,Red-eared mix
Score on the Catfish game
Catfish 1 ole frog 0
On this one ole frog had a 9 or 10 pound Flathead in the boat .
Remember, this is an 8 foot boat,my cooler (fish box) sets behind the seat all the way aft.
Trying to turn around and put this fish in the box ,one big flip and he scored.
( that is C&R frog )
One other fish pulled one rod overboard when I was fooling with the mini one.
No rod holders on this 8 foot boat.
I have no idea what kind of fish,it trashed around in the tulies for awhile.
I had a stump for a marker on shore, so I started to drag for my pole.
I thought I might snag the line,I'll be darned if I didn't snag the pole.
The fish had broken the line so I got it pole and reel back.
This it took about 30 minutes ole frog went home befor the heat set in.
