Short day and still slayed

GOT TO WORK EARLY ONLY TO FIND OUT I GOT A FOUR DAY HOLIDAY INSTEAD OF THREE,ASKED MY OLDEST SON WHO'S ON BREAK FROM C.S.U.B. IF HE WANTED TO GO STRIPER FISHING HE SAID SURE HE HAD NEVER BEEN BEFORE ,I DIDNT RELIZE THAT,HE'S BEEN SO BUSY WITH SCHOOL THE LAST COUPLE YEARS ,WHEN HE WAS LITTLE HIM AND HIS YOUNGER BROTHER WERE MY HOLDOVER TROUT TROLLING CREW.HE WAS HAPPY TO GET OUT,WE GOT THERE AND STARTED FISHING AROUND 10 WE FISHED FOR ABOUT 4 HRS THEN HEADED HOME NOBODY WAS AT THE LAKE ALOT OF BASS GUYS BUT THEY WERE ALL BACK IN THE COVES. ROBERT 4 REAL NICE STRIPERS WE TOOK HOME FOR DINNER AND ONE NICE BASS, I CANT WAIT TO GET HIM OUT THERE AGAIN,FOR A EARLY START FOR SOME EVEN BIGGER BOYS BEFORE ANY OF THE BOAT TRAFFIC,,,,,t/o

We shall meet on the battlefield soon enough to wage war upon those poor stripers….I see youv’e already mounted a full fledged attack ….ahhhh yes……victory is SWEET ! I know that feeling……defeat is not in our vocabulary !

Soon I shall be on the front lines wading through the carnage along with you…for now it’s a few quick slashes from the steel and back to work.

Go back to work, and leave them stripers for me Bob!
I was out there Monday with Myron and his nine year old son Trevor.
I tried for trout at the doc for nada.
Then I went on the troll. It was hookup in nothing flat.
It was a nice five pounder farmed at the boat when the net got hung up.
After that Travor and Myron there at the dock. I picked them up, gave them the report and told Trevor he was first up. In less then 15 min it was fish on! Trevor did a great job.
It was his first striper, and the largest fish ever. It went 4.7lbs. That was the high point of our day! We could not buy another fish! we trolled and in the fishing, and skie arms. Myron cought two boats but failed to land a single one$$. I managed to get a schooly in about 30 ft of water in the skie arm. We fished bait at the bouy line, and a few other spots for nada. The day started out great! Travor has out fished us again and his father was in last place with a shut out!

PS the WSB are calling me.
