Big Pine Memorial Day Weekend

Headed Up the hill Thursday night and go to camp around 1030. Woke up friday to kill the stream. Had to of caught and released 30 or so. Got back to camp to find the gf had went out on her own and brought one back, shocked me a lil that she had took it all upon her self and went solo. Decided to take the girls up to the pond where they all killed it, u couldnt throw an empty hook out there with out getting a hit. Lots of jealous people out there trying to tell me my rules as if i didnt know them, well with 4 paid fishing licenses, we took 20 fish back for lunch/ dinner. Was woken up at about 230 am to the rest of our group getting to camp. Saturday day and sunday were pretty much the same schedule, with a few fewer fish, still saw tons of them but the campgrounds had tons of people fishing through out them. Hiked up a ways where i found tons of lil browns. Well here is a few pics...

Those are some very nice stockers,, i still havent even fished the big pine area but it sure looks like its as pretty as the rest of the sierras

Nice job.
Went thru there on Wendesday and the pond was empty. Camphost was complaining that he needed fish. Looks like DFG came thru. Sweet

i still dont get why u soo surprised that i went fishin all by myself....i know what im doin hahaha it was funny that u guys went fishin for hours n david didn catch anything then i go out for 5 mins n catch one lol :Big Grin: this weekend was fun cant wait till the next one!!!!
