Headed out to fish the kelp just south of the harbor. The fish were stacked up thick. But being how my name on here is Seasick, I didn't get to stay for long. Didn't seem too rough but the swells were very close to each other. Got chased by a white seabass but he gave up about 10 feet from the boat. Water was very clear. So headed back inside the harbor for a very tough couple of hours. Managed 1 nice spottie and couple of hits. After talking to a lot of people out there, nothing was biting anywhere. Maybe the bite picked up later but morning sucked, at least for me. Going to try tubing tomorrow. It will be my first time out on my tube so I really have no idea what to expect or where to even put in.
