Azusa Canyon?

Anyone ever been 4 wheelin up in Azusa Canyon? The far end of the offroad park is basically the start of the resevoir. I am wondering if you are allowed to fish there.

I have fished there before, never been bothered I crossed the east fork bridge parked and walked down to the water not sure if its illegal but like I said I've been out there in the middle of the day and seen rangers pass by. just make sure you have the vehicle pass.

hey thanks for the info sgtskunk! I have not been up there for about 4 yrs now. I guess I gotta take a drive up there one of these days and stop at the ranger station. I used to love romping around in the mudpits up there with my old rig.

its legal u can fish san gabriel reservoir u just cant fish morris the one below used to be good but i haven't been their in a long time.

I fished there about 12yrs ago (below the east fork bridge) & 2 my understandings it WAS legal. We were slaying them trout. It was a good spot. Let us know how it goes. Good luck

Just beyond the bridge, you can walk up & fish along the stream all the way to the dam. excellent fly fishing for trout as i've heard.
