medium light rod from easten sierra trout

I am looking to get one of the berkley air series rods in medium light to fish four pound on and wondering if this would be to heavy of an action rod for trout.

I have a Berkley Amp Rod, Tactix and Cheerywood, they are all Ultra Light, Medium Light is too stiff for my taste and not as sensitive.
