Fished with my brother in law. The kids went swimming at the pool. I spent a few hours at the pond. From the time we arrived and the time we left we caught fish one after another. The bluegills were the monster size. The bass in 1 to 2 lb range nothing under 12 inches.
The next wave of spawning bass were on there beds. There is fry all over from the first wave of spawning fish. I thought the spawn was over today prooved me wrong. We used hard jerk baits and worms, flies, Castaic bluegills today. Between the two of us we probably caught 50 or so fish. We did slow down for a few pictures. We had alot of fun hope you enjoy the pics. Caught one bluegill close to two pounds on the jerk bait. All fish released we never keep any fish from thr pond. We should have stayed for the catfish bite but we figured we had caught enough fish. We saw some big cats cruising by.
