I wonder what would be better. To get thrid palce and $2100 cash or get second place and two Vail Lake memberships if you already have them.
Man, looks like the bite has gotten tougher out there. But those guys at Vail had some serious fun the last couple months for sure.

they do that because when they hold tournaments thier they are open to anyone.

Yeah the bite out there is tough for decent size fish using artificles right now.
Me and Brian went through about 25 bass to get the small limit we had. :Neutral:
No big bites all day. Lots and lots of small ones though...
The big bass are too locked into the shad right now. And even more of them are out in the middle of nowhere susspended. I saw a guy out there fun fishing and using shad and he was roping the big bass... Very tough to get those big ones to eat artificles right now though..
Nice job to the guys that were able to scratch up a decent limit.

We did our best. Heck lots of regular members who fish the lake had a tough time. Before the event we had better quality, then derby time, we get the 1.5 lb. clones. Still fun.
