I have never fished the california aqueduct and was wondering where to go. I live in San Bernardino and heard I needed to goto Little Rock- off 138. Any advice would be appreciated... thanks

First Post.... WELCOME !!!

Questions go in Freshwater general, this is Reports forum...

The Duct Runs a Very long way.. You can google it and follow where it goes.
It crosses the I-15 between Hesperia & Victorville on its way to Silverwood Lake.. Lots of spots to fish...

You dont have to go to Little Rock.. But it seems the further WEST you go, the better the bite from what I have read and experienced..

Ya, I've tried fishing the duct in Hesperia, Phelan, Littlerock, Palmdale. I've never caught anything from the duct yet. I know people do from time to time, but the reports I see I suspect are mostly from the Bakersfield area.

I gave up on the duct. I hope you find better luck wherever you go.

Not all come from Bakersfield. It's true that it seems there is more quantity of fish in that area, but it also seems that there is better quality in the AV ie. Palmdale, Lancaster areas.

I like to refer to it as the "Aquesuck" or "Aqueskunk" but I have caught stripers several times in many locations on the Duct. Once you catch your first Striper the "fever" sets in very quickly! Don't give up on it. Figuring it out can sometimes be part of the fun. Good Luck & Tight Lines!
