Went down to my new favorite spot today. The weather was pretty ugly this morning, but I had a good feeling bout fishing today. Started off throwing a d/s robo, when I noticed a lot off big splashes and fish boiling kinda. I put down the dropshot after one cast and hooked my other pole with a bass magic 7" rainbow trout color swimbait. I was bringing it in slow, but walking it across the water kinda, when I see a big wave come up behind my swimbait. That bass just inhaled my bait. Set the hook and fought it for a little bit, brought it in, took a couple of photos and let her go safely. This is the biggest bass I have ever caught. I didn't have a scale. How much do you guys think it weighs? And don't say 2.22 lbs!

When i first saw the picture, pushing 6lbs. Get a scale or next time tape the fish to get a ballpark figure.

I'm still waiting for my first swimbait fish. =/

Wow thats a beautiful fish. Given the fact that this is postspawn, I would say 4.5-5 lbs.

Prespawn that fish is 6lbs
