The local parks are heating up, lots of weed beds forming in the shallows, the mud hens are all gone for the summer and sure enough the water clarity has improved by 5-8 feet in visibility. Its alot easier finding and catching fish when you can see them.

JOE BASS with a pissed off female taken of the beds with a YUM crawfishhttp://i391.photobucket.com/albums/oo353/carpinator_photos/S5000161.jpg
And of course the fish everyone loves to hate, thats why i put this pic last, caught this one flylining on 2 lb P-LINE, 15 lbs took 15 minutes, nice fight!!! The catfish are still hiding in the trash cans at the deep end, but lots of BLUE GILL and GREEN SUNFISH are being caught.

Looks like you had a good time fishing with a 24pack of Budweiser in the back ha ha ha nice fish. I never thing carp as trash fish they are a blast on light tackle.

Nice job on the fish. I love it that everybody loves to hate the carp. The most underrated fish in the lake.... Thanks for the report.
